The scripture in Luke 10:17-19 says, "And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
As believers and Christians, victorious christian living is not an option but rather our DNA and default life. We are expected to live it out as lifestyle rather than an event; exercising dominion, liberty and overcoming power. Gen. 1:26-27.
Upon creation, God gave us the power to exercise dominion but unfortunately man failed and lost it to Satan in the garden of Eden. Despite man's failure, God did not abandon us in this hopeless circumstances but sent the Lord Jesus for the redemption of mankind and returned dominion back unto us. John 10:10, John 19:28-30 and Mathew 27:46-51.
The Crucifixion of Christ on the cross, burial and resurrection restored the victorious power back unto us a believers but we must lay hold and walk in it. This victorious living is not focused only on prosperity, material wealth and acquisitions but rather they are additions.
To be continued........
