Lady Gaga Tops High-Earning List

LADY GAGA is the highest-earning celebrity under 30. The singer topped the 2013 list compiled by Forbes magazine, taking home an estimated $80 million (£52 million) in the last 12 months.

 

It's been a fairly quiet year for the artist, who has spent much of it recovering from hip surgery, but her Born This Way Ball world tour - which she cut short due to her injury in January - grossed an estimated $168 million ($109 million). In the past week Gaga also announced a new album, Artpop, set for release in September.

Also ranking highly on the female-dominated list this year are Vogue cover girls Rihanna, in fourth place with $43 million (£28 million); Adele, in seventh place with $30 million (£19.5 million); Jennifer Lawrence, in eighth place with $26 million (£17 million) - the highest-earning actor; and Kristen Stewart, in ninth place with $22 million (£14 million).

Other music names to feature in the top 10 include Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.
