
A mentally disabled mom and her 6-year-old daughter were held captive in an Ohio home for two years by a trio of sickos who terrorized them with pit bulls and snakes, authorities said Tuesday.
Two men and a woman were arrested in the heinous case, accused of subjecting the mother to “subhuman beatings” and forcing her to beat her own child on camera.

The suspects also turned the mom into a virtual slave, making her clean and shop for them, officials said. The mother and daughter were mostly kept in a locked basement, guarded by pit bulls and pythons.

Prosecutors said suspects Jordie Callahan, 26, Jessica Hunt, 31, and Daniel Brown, 33, cashed the mother’s monthly disability check and used the money to feed their addictions to pain pills. They were hit with federal charges of kidnapping and extortion. Callahan was also slapped with three counts of weapons possession.

The case in Ashland, Ohio, came a month after three women who were kidnapped and held captive in a Cleveland home for a decade were rescued.

Cops said the ordeal came to light in October, when the mother escaped and deliberately got arrested for shoplifting a candy bar. Since then, she and her daughter have been in protective state custody.
